The increasing ease of accessing some information and a great deal of opportunities to obtain various kinds of tools as well as time give effects worrying enough to the children of the present times.

An andrologist of the Faculty of Medicine, Catholic University of Fu Jen, Taiwan, Dr.Han Sun Chiang MD, mentions that from a research which is imposed upon 2249 Senior High School students in Taipei, it is revealed that fifty-seven percent of these students have been accustomed and feel much comfort to make date by way of internet and even have sexual intercourse within a night. The more worrying is that about five percent of them have already been accustomed to doing the same kind of activity.

“No doubt, internet is immensely helpful, nonetheless the incorrect use of it will, on the reverse, give rise to social matters. At present time, sexual  violence are even increasing, unwanted pregnancies more frequently take place, spreads of contagious sexual diseases can no longer be avoided”, confirmed Hun in Congress.

“That is why, Han added, this is a good opportunity to make advantage of internet as a means to consult as well as to give sexual education to teenagers”. Even for adult people, cyber sexual counseling or consulting by way of internet is a very helpful means.

According to Han, in Taiwan an official site managed by government which provides some information around sexual and eurological fields has been set up since 2004. Until February 2005, more than thirty questions are collected and eighty six percent are concerned with sexual matters.

“We believe that in this internet era, cyber sex is trendy for the growing sexual habits. However, with internet too, education through this instrument can be applied to the young generation. In the future, such media intervention as sexual counseling through internet will be much more effective to cope with varieties of sexuality matters in our society”, Han elaborated.

It goes without saying that internet supplies opportunities for interpersonal meeting, regardless of places now that access can be done everywhere and it becomes more and more portable, and keeps secret.
